Please be advised that the DHA Visa Application Center in Cape Town will be re-opening its offices at the Absa Building, 21st floor, Cape Town as of Monday the 31 October 2016.

After yesterday's post below we now have the following news:
The DHA Visa and Permit Application Centre located at the Absa building in Riebeeck Street, Cape Town, has temporarily moved to a new location: 5th Floor, 47 Strand Street, Cape Town.
DHA Applicants are advised that, with immediate effect, they can submit their applications as per their scheduled online appointment at this centre until further notice.
Applications can be submitted between 08:00 to 14:00. Collection of Decisions will be between 14:00 and 16:00.
Please note: All applicants whose appointments have lapsed, please visit the above temporary location between 8:00 – 10:00 to be assisted on a priority walk in basis.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION – VFS OFFICES IN CAPE TOWN CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
As of midday on Monday, 17 October, the VFS offices in Cape Town are closed and no applications can be lodged or results collected – apparently due to problems with the landlords of the building that VFS is situated in, but this has not been confirmed. The official notice by VFS reads:
“Due to unforeseen circumstances, the DHA Application Center at 21st Floor Absa Centre, No 2 Riebeeck Street, Cape Town South Africa, will be temporarily closed. We regret the inconvenience caused and are working towards re-opening the centre as soon as possible. Please bear with us while we make alternative arrangements for applicants.”
IMCOSA were verbally assured that VFS will take responsibility for and request Home Affairs to correct any delay in applications and any missing of deadlines as a consequence, and have contacted officials on all levels to receive confirmation of this in writing.
