Qualifications Evaluation
In the context of most applications for the various categories of work permits an evaluation of the applicant’s qualifications by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) is required.
The evaluation is a comparative analysis, by way of which the foreign qualification is compared to similar South African qualifications, and advice is given on the level of recognition of the foreign qualification in South African. The process is time-consuming and should be initiated well in advance of the planned commencement of work in South Africa.
IMCOSA takes care of the translation and certification of the qualification documents, submits the application on behalf of the client and follows the entire process, also in order to prevent the loss of documentation and (prevalent) extraordinary delays as far as possible.
